June 24, Gao, Zhisheng, an attorney who has consistently provided legal assistance to disadvantaged groups to help protect their rights was arrested again, and taken away from Beijing. Why? It's because the Court Attorneys Committee of United States granted "Courageous Advocate Award" to Attorney Gao. Attorney Gao had been trying to come to the US to accept the prize, and would like to take this opportunity to exchanges the ideas of constitution and the rule of law with American attorneys. But he could not make the trip. The organizers of the activity talked to the Chinese authorities, and the United States Court Attorneys' Committee wrote invitation letters, in hope to help Attorney Gao to come to the United States and accept the award, but the Chinese authorities did not answer and did not allow Attorney Gao to go abroad.

Attorney Gao ZhiSheng was arrested again and again just because he fought for the justice for average people and defended the law of the nation. Although repeatedly facing political persecution, he is never afraid and continues to help the disadvantaged groups as always. Attorney Gao's courage is a good spiritual example for us.

Chinese Communist dictatorship always exerts political persecution upon people who involve in politics. Any average people involved in politics is rebellious or with bad motivation. Any opponent would be called political inclination, extremely reactionary, undermining the reform and subversion. China Democracy Party hereby strongly protest against the China Communists authorities! What we need is a prosperous, equal, free and democracy society with the freedom of media, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of political beliefs, rather than the dictatorship of the Communist Party. I hope that all China Democracy Party members will fight to overthrow the dictatorship in China!
