中国民主党主张既要学习和借鉴外国的先进理念和价值观，好的政治制度和社会制度，又要总结和积累中国的先进理念、先进价值观、好的政治制度和社会制度。通过将两者结合在一起的方式，来进行政治体制改革。政治体制改革过程中，既要遵循中国的历史，又要符合中国的现状。政治体制改革的目标是建设和发展具有中国特色的民主政治制度。我们坚信中国既然能在经济体制改革方面取得巨大成功，也一定有足够的智慧在政治体制改革中取得成功。

CDP advocate that we should study and use the advanced notion, the advanced values' view, the good political system and the good social system, at same time, we should sum up and accumulate the advanced notion, the advanced values' view, the good political system and the good social system. The political system should be reformed by the way that the both will be combined together. While the political system will be reformed, the history in China should be followed, and the current situation in China should be accorded with. The goal of the political system reforming is that the democratic political system with Chinese characteristics should be set up and developed in China. We believed that the economic system reforming in China could be succeeded, and then the enough political wisdom will have to succeed the political system reforming.

中国民主党尊重和支持中国执政党的执政地位；中国民主党愿意成为一个半独立的参政党，在参与中国政治体制改革的同时，监督和制约中国的执政党。

CDP will respect and support the position for being in power of the party in power; CDP likes to become a half-independent party for attending the political affairs; while we will be attending the political system reforming, we will supervise and interact the party in power.

中国民主党在得到中国执政党认可，成为合法参政党后，希望能自主的制定党的路线、方针和政策，自主的管理党的内部事务，自主的开展各项政治活动和社会活动。中国民主党希望与执政党建立固定的协商机制，即在制定党的路线、方针和政策，或者开展党的活动前，与执政党进行协商。经协商达成共识的内容，中国民主党将坚定的和认真的执行，并接受中国执政党的监督。在协商过程中，发生分歧的内容，中国民主党将搁置争议，放弃或暂停执行有争议的内容，并接受中国执政党的监督。发生分歧的内容，待时间和环境变化，条件重新成熟时，再次进行协商。

After CDP will get the approved by the party which is in power, and CDP will become a party for attending the political affairs, we hope that we will make the political lines, the guiding principles and the policies of CDP by ourselves, we will manage the affairs inside CDP by ourselves, and we will hold every political and social actives by our selves. CDP hope that we will set up a regular system for being consultation with the party in power, it is that we will be consultation with the party in power before we will make the political lines, the guiding principles and the policies of CDP, or we will hold the political and social activities of CDP. The contents of the common understanding each other will be carry out firmly and conscientiously by CDP, and we will receipt the supervising of the party in power. The contents of the disputing each other will be laid aside. CDP will lay aside the dispute, and give up or stop temporarily to carry out the disputing contents, and we will receipt the supervising of the party in power. After the time and the environment will be changed, and the situation will mature, we will be consultation the dispute contents with the party in power again.

中国民主党将以国家利益和百姓利益为重，全力支持以中国执政党为主导的，有领导的、有秩序的和渐进的政治体制改革。

CDP will regard the country's interest and the common peoplesó benefit as important, we will support with all CDP strength to the political system reforming which will be leading by the party in power, and will be had leader and order, and be done gradually.
